We left for Santa Barbara on Friday for a quick weekend trip and had a great time! Both Uncle Bri and Uncle Conor were home from school, so we got to see them both and K was delighted!
While she loves seeing CeeCee and Papa, and giggling with her uncles, she also loves all of the toys at CeeCee and Papa's house...Tea pawty anyone?!
Teh-ee Bear is always up for a tea pawty!
And Papa, too!
Wherever K went, Teh-ee Bear was not far behind, and he rode in style, as usual!
CeeCee and Papa just returned from their trip to Paris and London for the Olympics, and they brought so many wonderful gifts for K...she wanted to wear them all at the same time! Our accessories queen!
Here are K and CeeCee all dressed up in their pretties for dinner. CeeCee and Papa took K to Mollie's for pizza...her favorite in Santa Barbara!
Look at Mama and say cheese!
The brothers all together again!
It's extremely difficult to get all three smiling at the same time, but we managed to get a few good ones!
While we were packing the car, K took Teh-ee Bear for a stroll.
K and CeeCee went for a "l'il walk" to get the mail. Notice the '88 Volvo ("Mulva")...Patrick's car from when he was 16, which all of the Murphy kids have driven at one point or another, and the car in which Patrick picked me up on our very first date over 10 years ago!
K knows what she wants and is very opinionated about her clothes and hair. I was not allowed to pull back her hair with a bow or barette. I always tell her that I want to see her beautiful face, and she responds, "No see my bootiful face!"
Papa's breakfast of champions: Mountain Dew and Pretzels. K loves the pretzels, but she is not allowed near the Mountain Dew!!!
She is an expert at getting what she wants...blub-blubs! When Mama is not around, K will tell Papa, "Papa, come wis me." And she pulls him by the hand to the kitchen counter where CeeCee and Papa keep the swedish fish candy. She points and says, "Blub-blubs!" Papa opens the container, tells her she can have one, and asks her which color she would like. Her response: "I want orange, green, yellow, red!" One?! Sure, Papa. One of each color, of course!
What a great weekend!
