The weekend started with a bridesmaids' luncheon at the Crescent Club. Auntie M had asked K to be the flower girl and me to be a bridesmaid, so we both got to attend with Mimi there to help (thank goodness!).
Disclaimer: I am apologizing in advance for the quality of the pictures. We brought our little camera to save space and ended up with a lot of blurry pictures!
K was all ready for lunch!
And then she got to open her goodie bag with Auntie M! It was all packaged in the cutest navy tote bag with her name on it, and she got lots of toys and activities, in addition to her "getting ready" outfit for the day of the wedding.
Later that day, we all got ready to leave for the rehearsal at the SMU Chapel. We were waiting down in the lobby and took a quick picture in front of the beautiful Christmas tree at the Crescent. It was super cold out, so we were bundled up in our coats. K even had her own coordinating handbag for her little outfit!

The happy couple at the rehearsal dinner!
The big day was finally here! We gave K a bath in the morning, much to her chagrin, and got her dressed in her little navy cover up with her name monogrammed on the skirt.
Then we headed over to the bridal suite for hair, makeup and lunch. K got to color and play with her new little toys. Auntie M helped her color a pretty picture!
Auntie M getting ready...
We all got dressed and went to the SMU Chapel to take a few pictures before the ceremony. We took separate pictures first, so that Billy didn't see Megan before the ceremony.
K loves her Dada!

Auntie M and her bridesmaids

Auntie M had to tell K that she was going bye bye so that she could steal a kiss for the photographer!

Because we were in the wedding and Mimi was taking care of K, I'm sad to say that we didn't get any pictures of the ceremony. It became evident at the rehearsal that K was not quite ready to walk down the aisle by herself, so we decided to have Dada walk her down. She held his hand and waved to all of the guests, which was really cute. When she got to the front of the aisle, she was supposed to sit with Mimi. As soon as she saw Mama, however, she came running to the front and wanted me to pick her up. We were able to sit down in the pews a few minutes later, so I had Mimi to help me entertain her during the mass. There were bells sitting on the pews for guests to ring after the first kiss...K wanted to ring them quite earlier, as you can imagine! And when Auntie M and Billy were exchanging rings, K did not want them to hold hands. She shouted, "May May, no hands!" Even so, I think she did great at her first wedding and was a wonderful flower girl!
After the wedding, we took more pictures. Here is a great picture of the family that was taken by the photographer (I can't wait to see the rest of the photos!)

We went back to the Crescent for the reception after we finished with pictures. K was so excited to see her Uncle C! Here she is with Uncle C and Amanda
And she loves her Bri, too!
K was so excited, she could hardly contain herself! Uncle C and Bri in one place!
After dinner, cake, and some dancing, the Carl's Jr. truck made an appearance to hand out burgers and fries. Before they started serving, I snuck out to take a picture with the truck...
And then it was time for the big sendoff...Megan and Billy walked through a crowd of shooting streamers and boarded a horse-drawn carriage
Kiss! Kiss!
It was a magical evening and we're so happy for Megan and Billy! Thank you to the Murphys and Flemings for putting such an amazing weekend together!
I love weddings! Megan was a beautiful bride and the wedding looks like it was a blast. By the way, you looked fabulous, erica!
