CeeCee and Papa's house was jam-packed with people sleeping in every room, so K would walk up and down the hallway with her grocery cart delivering supplies to everyone
CeeCee and Papa took K out to dinner and then home to bed, so that all of the kids could go out to dinner past K's 6:00 bedtime. We got K all dressed up for her night out and I got a few cute shots of her with Auntie Lauren
We had a great time at Patrick's favorite sushi spot, Arigato, with Billy, Megan, Conor, Brian, Patrick and I, and Lauren
The next day, we went to Los Olivos to the wineries
We had hoped that K would nap in the car on the way there, but no such luck.
CeeCee did a great job entertaining her...they walked down the street and looked for Santa, and then I joined in for "1,2,3"
K finally fell asleep in the car and slept all the way home. She is always a little cranky when she gets up, but all of the toys at CeeCee and Papa's house helped!
Then, it was time for Auntie Lauren to go home...big hugs and kisses!
The next day, we took K to the Santa Barbara Zoo, which she loves! Dada was in charge of getting her there, but he forgot the diaper bag/hat/sunscreen at home, so we had to buy K a hat from the gift shop. It's a little big, but the whole pink trucker look was working with her cute, curly hair and Ugg boots.
We saw monkeys...
and "mingos" (flamingos)...
and "pen-ins" (penguins)
K rode in style for most of our visit to the zoo, courtesy of Dada and Papa
K was obsessed with seeing the giraffes and it was pretty much all she talked about throughout the whole zoo...here they are!
K saw a shark, too, which made her giggle...
K was very excited to ride the train, but would not let anyone sit by her except for Mama
I think the Santa Barbara Zoo is our favorite zoo right now for K's age...it's just perfect!
