Back to Atlanta

After vacation, the kids and I went back to Atlanta to meet up with Auntie Lauren and spend some time with Mimi (Grandpa Bill had to work most of our trip...we missed him!).  We went to dinner at Murphy's...the reservation was in K's name, which was pretty cute!

B did not travel well; he is definitely a homebody. He had a hard time sleeping in general and naps were sporadic and very short. So, needless to say, he spent a lot of time in the wrap, where he would sleep!
It was so great to be together! It is so rare that we are all in the same city for some girl time (and B , too!).

Auntie Lauren had to go back to Chicago for work, but we had a few more days with Mimi.  We checked out the Atlanta Botanical Gardens, which was really beautiful!  They have a large children's garden and play area, which K loved!

And they have a scarecrow exhibit for the month of October, where different organizations and schools around Atlanta create scarecrows to be displayed around the gardens.  There were probably over 100 scarecrows, which were so cool, and sometimes a little scary! But, check out the Stroller Strides scarecrow....LOVE IT!
 K really liked the slide.
And B was just happy hanging out in the stroller.
There was so much to see and do, including Peter Rabbit's hideout.
 K and Mama being silly!
And K was quite the poser...

B spent some time in the wrap....and then took a nap!

 Mimi took this picture...
And then, K wanted to take one, too!

We had such a wonderful time in Atlanta!  We are so thankful that Auntie Lauren was able to come down to see us and we really appreciate Mimi and Grandpa Bill hosting our craziness!
