K's hair is growing like a weed and is getting so curly. It's a little difficult to control sometimes (Just like Mommy's and Daddy's hair!). She has eight teeth, four on top and four on bottom, and boy, does she enjoy using them! Her gums are extremely swollen, so a few of her molars are on their way, too.
K's vocabulary is expanding every day, but her new favorite word is "dat," meaning "I want that" (whatever she is pointing to at the moment). She says it constantly and points to everything! She loves animals and even waves to them in her books. She wants to give all dogs hugs and kisses, but we have to remind her that not all dogs are as nice and loving as Baxter ("Baa," Grandma and Grandpa Bowlby's dog) and Maddy (Grandma and Grandpa Shelby's dog).
K's favorite activity right now is riding in her Cozy Coupe. She wants you to put on her shoes, and then she heads for the garage door. Once the door is open, she jets straight for the Coupe and climbs inside. And if you stop pushing, she gives you a piece of her mind! She makes regular use of the cupholders in the back, where she likes her sippy cup to be held, and snacks are a must. Her favorite destination is the playground, so we usually take at least one trip a day in the Coupe up to the playground.
Here are a few more pictures from our trip to Atlanta. Even though Grandma was on the mend and needed our help, we had a lot of fun just spending time together. K with Grandma in her wheelchair with "Baa"
Walking "Baa." Just watching "Baa" walk down the sidewalk would make K burst into hysterical laughter!
On our last night, we picked up Grandpa Bill from the airport and went out for Italian food. As usual, K thoroughly enjoyed her meal!
She refused to sit in the high chair after about 20 minutes. She just wanted to sit on Mommy's lap. Then she thought it was hilarious to wipe her hands all over Mommy's neck!
But, what are you going to do?!
Grandpa, Grandma, and K
So much fun!
