Botanical Garden with Parker

Yesterday, we headed to the Botanical Garden with my friend, Lauren, her Mom, and K's friend, Parker, who just turned one.

K loved playing with the natural instruments in the little music area...



and walking around the giant treehouse...



but her favorite, and Parker's too, was the water, of course! As soon as K saw the water, she sat right down, clothes and all, and was soaking wet in seconds! Good thing I had an extra set of clothes this time!






K is always sad when it is time to leave the garden, but she had so much fun and was so tired that she fell asleep in the car on the way home! I tried everything to keep her awake, so that she could nap in her bed, but to no avail. She was pooped!
