More Santa Barbara...

We had a fun- filled visit with Cee Cee and Papa!  The first thing on K's agenda was to ride the quarter carousel and racing ponies at the grocery store again!

Then we went to check out Cee Cee and Papa's house....and wow!  Was it "under construction"!  There is no roof and no back of the house!

B was enamored by the construction truck out front...he even had on his shirt!

The next morning, we went to Chase Palm Park and the historic Santa Barbara Carousel.  Cee Cee and Papa thought that K might like to ride the real thing (as opposed to the quarter machines at he grocery store)!

I think the kids were a little nervous at first, but once the carousel started going, they loved it!  And wanted to ride it again!  Mama could only ride it once...I get to dizzy!

But, Cee Cee and Papa were troupers!

Then we headed to the amazing Santa Barbara zoo!

The train is great, and B loved it...it was just a little too close to naptime and put him right to sleep!

We went to Mollie's for dinner for our last night and it was so delicious!  K and B each gobbled down their pasta and ice cream scoop.

Then, B wanted to sit on my lap...he saw more food on my plate.  He ate the rest of my fish, my broccoli, and 3 green beans!  He was such a great eater!

On the way out, we stopped at Carl's Jr. for biscuits and gravy!  A picture is worth a thousand words!

A bundle of thanks to Cee Cee and Papa for a wonderful weekend!  I really can't thank them enough for all of their help with the kids while Patrick was out-of-town, plus all of the amazing meals, and just a whole lot of fun!  It was great to spend so much time with them, and we love the new place in Montecito and "urban living"!!!!  We will come back for a visit soon!
