K and Mimi

Mimi came to visit and help with K's birthday (and Patrick had business trips two weeks in a row!).  It was so nice to have her here, to spend time together, and to have help with K and all of the birthday festivities.  Mimi waited until the commotion died down to give K her birthday presents from Mimi and Grandpa Bill, and K was so excited!  K wasn't sure quite what to make of the big, brown box.

And she was a little unsure of what she found inside... 

But then, it all came together!  She was astounded by this horse and stable a few months ago at PB Kids, and she was so excited to open it up!

She got the little doll rider, and the jumping fences, too! 

She and Mimi spent the rest of the morning watching horse videos and playing with her new horse and stable.  She loved it!

K and Mimi had a really nice visit, too! 

It had been so long since we had seen Mimi and we were so happy to have her here!

As you can see, K is not into taking pictures these days and it's a little hard to catch her smiling... 

But, we got a few good ones.  Thanks to Mimi for all of her help with K's big birthday!
