Trash Trucks!

Just about every day at Stroller Strides, the Edco trash trucks come to collect the trash at the elementary school. All of the kids rush to the fence at the side of the playground to watch the trash truck do its thing. Our friends work at Edco so they invited us come to visit and spend a little time in the conference room, which overlooks the transfer center where the trucks come to dump. So, today we took a little field trip with some of our friends to Edco to see the trash trucks in action, and boy did the kiddos have fun!

We went with Cole, Parker, and James. When we first walked in, the kids kept saying, "P.U. Stinky in here."

Parker and James even wore their trash truck vests!

They had a little Edco race car in the conference room that was just their size, so the kids took turns getting their picture taken in the car.

James and Parker were so excited to meet the men in uniform!

We definitely got the star treatment...they brought the big tractor out for us to get an up-close look! And even moved the digger up and down for us!

We tried to get a group picture, but it was a little like herding cats...

They also brought out two big trucks for us to look inside and around...so cool!

James was the only one brave enough to pose on the truck

K had the best time with her buddies. She was giggling, running, jumping, and screaming all over the place! That's my happy girl! What a great day!
