Party at the Farm

K's BFFs, Keaton and Abby had a shared 3rd birthday party at a farm/nursery here in Del Mar. The kids had the best time, and K was no exception. We had been once before, but I had forgotten how much there is for kids to do. It was a hit!

K immediately gravitated toward the farm toys that they had set up.

Here is the birthday girl on a pony ride (K wanted no part of the pony rides!)

But she was all about feeding carrots to the horses. At first, she wanted me to feed them, but then she got brave and held out a carrot for one horse to take. She was hooked after that! We spent the better part of an hour going to get carrots and feeding the different horses around the farm.

Keaton was way into feeding the horses, too. He even fed them an apple, which they loved!

K would giggle uncontrollably after the horsey took the carrot out of her hand.

Then we went to see the bunny inside the nursery.

And K even got into the cage with her to "pep" (pet) her.

The mommies were so creative in making the cupcakes for the party...they live by pinterest!

K decided she didn't want to get her hands dirty, so she just dove right into her cupcake!

And, as if the party wasn't great already, there was even a pinata in the shape of a cow. It was so cute to watch all of the kids trying to knock it apart. Here is the birthday boy taking his turn...
