Daddy-Daughter Day

I had to go to a friend's baby shower this morning, so K and Dada had a Daddy-Daughter Day together. They have been planning all week and it sounds like they had a great time! They went out for breakfast, rode the train to Encinitas, and got ice cream before riding the train back. To top it off, she got to pick a prize out from the toy store!

K told Dada she had to go potty, so he took her into the men's restroom while they were out and about. Well, K already has a thing about public restrooms: they have to have soap, they have to have towels (no hand dryers), and she has to use her travel potty and not the big potty ("It's scurry, Mama!). So, Dada takes her into the bathroom to go. Before he can even get the travel potty out, she says, "Daddy, it's smelly in here. I go potty in da car." She even had a disgusted look on her face as she said it. Yep, she is definitely my daughter!

So cute! What a great day!
