K's First Mini Golf Experience

On Sunday, we took K to play mini (or putt-putt) golf for the very first time, and she was so excited! However, the actual reality of playing mini golf with K was a little different than what Patrick and I envisioned. We are always talking about Patrick playing golf, and we take K to the driving range now and then to hit balls. We thought that she was at the perfect age to begin a little mini golf.

We arrived at the first tee, and Patrick was able to teach her to hit the ball toward the hole. When she approached her ball, instead of hitting again, she just picked it up and dropped in the hole! We did get a few pictures of her with putter-in-hand...

By hole #6, K had abandoned the putter altogether and just wanted to play in the rocks and the water. She preferred to throw the ball (or the rocks from the "rough") with her hand, rather than hit the ball with her putter. It was pretty hilarious! Patrick and I were so busy trying to wrangle K, that we barely got to play ourselves, and did not keep score. Sorry, Dada! The LPGA might be a little ways away!
