Our Family Vacation

The three of us finally made it down to Ft. Myers and had a wonderful and relaxing family vacation at Casa de Shelby!

We hung out a lot by the pool, where we could play, eat, and watch TV!

We went out to dinner at Bonefish Grill...yum! K had mac n' cheese with a side of mashed potatoes...two of her favorites! She actually dipped her mac n' cheese in the mashed potatoes and thought it was delicious! She ate almost the whole thing and we barely heard a peep from her.

"Who me?"

K loves her Dada!

Here are a few shots of us at Sunset...so relaxing!

Since it was so blazing hot, and the community is primarily vacation homes, the golf course was pretty empty. For Patrick's birthday, all he wanted was to go golfing with his girls, so that's what we did!

Starting her early!

It's so hot that Dada needs a towel!

Taking a stroll down the cart path...

K loved to interupt Dada's hitting by snatching his tee or picking up the ball

Finally, he just decided to wait until she was finished.

There she goes.

K learning to pitch...

She loved the lemonade!

Glamma Donna and Grandpa's pool had a wonderful ledge that was only about 6' deep, so it was perfect for K to splash around...

Swimming with Dada!

We had a hard time finding Sesame Street on TV, so K had to watch it on the iPad. After her bath, she snuggled with Dada on the couch and watched a little Abby and Elmo!

Swimming with Mama

Every afternoon, the golf course would close at 4:00. So, the three of us would load up in the golf cart and go for rides around the course. Dada gave K more lessons!

I love the colors in this picture

K looks so teeny on the vast golf course

K had her snacks in tow!

Before we headed home, we had to drive back up to St. Pete to Mimi and Grandpa Bill's house to return everything we borrowed (Thank you!!!!!) and say our goodbyes. K had a really hard time saying goodbye to Bah...

We had a wonderful vacation and lots of fun! Thank you to Glamma Donna and Grandpa Shelby for letting us use their awesome house!
