B is 20 Months Old!

B weighs 24 lbs. 14.5 oz. (48%), wears 18-24 month and 2T chothes, and a size 7 1/2 shoe.  He is going potty 3 to 4 times per day, and is now asking for his "Em, Em!"  His vocabulary is just exploding right now!  Not only is he talking about trash trucks and dump trucks, but some of his new words are "dat-it" (jacket), "deet, deet" (milkshake), "ap-pee" (help please), and "no," which he loves to say in the saddest little whine with his face puckered up.  It's so much fun that he is finally communicating more with his words!

He has learned what it means to take turns, and to clean up, which makes Mama happy!  We sing the clean up song and he's right along with me picking up his toys.  Not to say that he doesn't love to make messes....mostly faster than we can clean them up!

B's new favorite hang-out is in the garage with Cozy Coupe, his scooter, and some fun trucks and balls.  I prop the door open so that I can hear him tinkering, and check on him every few minutes.  He just loves it out there, and sometimes, K joins him, too (which gives me a few minutes to pick up inside!).

B is at the stage where he wants to do what he wants to do and there is no negotiation!  He is not into getting his diaper changed these days at all.  It usually turns into a wrestling match, unless he is in the mood to go pee pee in the potty...then he's all about taking that diaper off.  And his pants and socks, too!  Sometimes, he'll even grab a book (or an iPad) while he sits down on the potty...I wonder where he gets that from?!

K is way into dressing alike these days, and loves to be "twins" with B in their jammies...
