Celebrating Christmas in Santa Barbara

On Christmas Day, we drove to Santa Barbara to celebrate Christmas with the Murphys.  It's always fun to see everyone and all be together in one place! We didn't take enough pictures, but we did get a few good ones.


Since K has just recently discovered the joys of having her nails painted, CiCi, Mae Mae, and I took her to CiCi's nail salon where they have the cutest butterfly chairs for little girls.  I have always wanted to take her ever since she was born!  I thought we might be able to convince her to put her toesies in the water, but no such luck!  She did come away with beautiful purple nails and green toes, with flowers and sparkles!  So cute!

K received a cool, new, hot pink scooter and helmet, and B received his first bike from CiCi and Papa (Don't worry...B will get a helmet, too!).  The kids had a blast riding their new toys around the neighborhood!  And CiCi and Papa had so much fun taking them for rides...

 We went to dinner with the family, and B was so relaxed just lounging on Papa's shoulder by the fire.  So precious!

 And K was having fun with Auntie Mae Mae, but refused to pose for pictures!

We had such a great time with the whole family and we really appreciate them putting up with all of our craziness!  A wonderful Christmas was had by all! Thank you to CiCi and Papa for making it special!
