Baby Brother's First Week at Home

K adores her new baby brother and calls him "Baby Brudder," so we have pretty much adopted that nickname, too. She tells everyone we see that "We had a boy!" and is such a proud big sister! As you can see, K is enjoying him so much!
Papa, Cee Cee, and Bri were here!  We are so happy they were able to make it down to meet him!  And we felt really special that Uncle Bri came down, too!

Every night before bed, K would ask to hold Baby Brother.
We were having some feeding issues, so his first outing was to visit a lactation consultant.  She helped so much!
She is so happy to have him!

Baby Brother's First Doctor's Appointment: He weighed 7 lbs. 2 oz.  He lost a little weight since he was born, which is normal.  And he was actually up one ounce since Saturday, so he is going in the right direction!  We have to come back for a weight check in a week.
After the doctor, Baby Brother was pooped!
His poor little face was peeling, so we slathered him up in Aquaphor; hence, the sheen.
K thinks his hiccups are hilarious!  And he has them 4 or 5 times a day, just like he did in Mama's belly!
Just in case you were wondering why Baby Brother is either naked, or wearing the same two outfits, we had no clothes (or diapers) for him since he was so small compared to K.  We were expecting another big baby, so I didn't even buy newborn diapers.  I had to scramble to order some online (thanks, CeeCee!), and I bought him a few outfits to get us through.  He'll be big in no time!  Just like his sister!
