Mimi and Grandpa Bill Visit for the Holidays

Mimi and Grandpa Bill came to visit this past weekend and we had such a wonderful time together....the time went by too fast!  We decorated the house for the holidays, and Grandpa Bill helped with so many things around the house (I am in full nesting mode getting ready for Baby M and had a whole list!).  And we even got to celebrate Christmas with them since we might not get to see them for the holidays.  K and Mimi made cookies...

And K got to open her presents from Mimi and Grandpa Bill!  She got a really cool police car from Grandpa Bill that makes all kinds of sounds and flashes its lights. 

And they gave K her very own doll house!  With all of the furniture and a doll to go with it! 

 Pottery Barn gave us the wrong color house (it was supposed to be white), which we didn't know until she opened it up.  That night after she went upstairs for her bath, Mimi and Grandpa Bill ran up  to exchange it, so that she would have the white house by morning.  However, she noticed that it was missing before she went to bed, and that they were missing, too.  When she asked where Mimi and Grandpa Bill were (and where her dollhouse was), I told her they took it to get it painted!  She didn't ask another question about it!

She was in heaven! 

K is obsessed with Christmas lights, and expecially, the lighted reindeer lawn sculptures (we have two on our street and have to stop and look each time we pass to go anywhere!).  So, during our Christmas festivities, we gave K a reindeer of her very own!

Before Mimi and Grandpa Bill left for the airport, we were able to get a few pictures of them with K.  Their visit really went by way too fast, and we hope we get to see them again soon!  We miss them so much!
