K's First Nail Polish!

St. Nick brought K her very own, and very first, nail polish (nontoxic, kid-friendly, Piggy Paints)!  K was so excited that we had to paint her nails for the very first time..."Mama, look how pwetty!"

And her bow had to match her nails!  She is growing up so fast!  She's sleeping in a big-girl bed, using the big potty, and insists on picking out her clothes, as well as getting dressed, all by herself!  She always wants to wear a "bootiful princess dress," and she wants to know if it's wintertime, or springtime, before she gets dressed.  When she drops something, she says, "Oh, dear!" and "Well, actually..." has become her favorite phrase.  I asked her this morning if she was finished eating and she said, "Well, actually, I'm still hungry."  All pink is not "hot pink" anymore, but she still says, "Mama, hode you!" when she wants to be held, which I love!  And she says, "Last day,..." or "Last year,..." when she's talking about something she did yesterday or last week.  Even though we have some terrible-two moments (or days!), I am trying to cherish every moment I have with her alone before Baby M arrives...it's going by so quickly!
