Off to St. Louis...

K and I jetted to St. Louis for a really short weekend trip to attend Auntie M's St. Louis shower. Trying to fit in naps with traveling and a time zone change on such a short trip was a challenge, to say the least! Fortunately, we were able to attend the shower and get K fitted for her flower girl dress while we there. We wish we could have spent more time to see all of our friends and family, but we will have to plan another (longer!) trip real soon.

Before we headed off to the shower, K chased Maddie around DeeDee and Grandpa Shelby's house. The two had a ball together, as usual! K chose her own outfit for this part of the day, including her boots!

We were able to take a few pictures with DeeDee and Grandpa before we left the house. K looked adorable in her leopard!


K was happy to see MaMa at the shower, who presented her with a "prize" (a present)...it was a cute baby doll for K to cuddle!

K watched Auntie M open her presents and smiled for the camera


CeeCee's cousin, Sherri gave K an a cute animal puzzle for K to play with during the shower. She loves to name her animals and knew almost all of those included in the puzzle.


After lunch, we had to get K home for her nap, so she said her goodbyes to CeeCee


It was a whirlwind, and K ended up sick by the time we left, but we were so glad that we were able to attend Auntie M's shower!
