More St. Louis

We headed over to our friends, Christie and Justin's house to see them, as well as our friend Erin and her son Parker, 22 months. Christie and Justin were so sweet to let K ransack their house and eat all kinds of goodies out of their fridge!

K and I, Christie, Erin, and Parker,

K was in love with DeeDee and Grandpa's dog, Maddie, and they would chase each other all over the house!

We went over to see Grandma and Grandpa Schwartz (DeeDee's parents). It was so great to see them both! K had a lot of fun playing the piano and eating cheerios!

DeeDee wanted to take K to the Magic House, and she absolutely loved it! She was really at a great age for all of the cool exhibits. They had a whole area dedicated to Alice and Wonderland. K played the drums...

And got some help from DeeDee...

She even played the flower bells

And had a little tea with Alice and the Mad Hatter

Auntie Lauren had fun, too!

Then, it was on to the science! K studied motion...

...air...

...electricity...

...sound...

...reflexes...

...magnets...

...light...

...water (by far, her favorite! Her eyes lit up when she saw the waterworks!)...

...and, sand (another favorite!).

She even got to go down the big (for little people) slide. Auntie Lauren helped her...

While DeeDee caught her at the bottom

She's "so big!"

It was time to go home, but she had the best day!!!

The next day, I dusted off Auntie Lauren's Cozy Coupe, circa 1985! It was totally retro and didn't have all of the amenities of K's new and improved Cozy Coupe, but she loved it just the same and was totally psyched to push it around Grandpa and DeeDee's driveway!

Just to compare, K received her Cozy Coupe for her birthday in January...

But the retro Coupe was just as fun!

We headed over to my Uncle John and Aunt Ingrid's house in Wildwood. It was the first time that K saw horses and she kept saying, "dog!" She wasn't scared; she just thought they were really big dogs!

A few of my girlfriends came over with their little ones and it was so much fun to see all of our kids play together!

Ellen with Ehren's son, Wyatt, 6 months

Sarah with her daughter, Rose, 21 months

Rose, Olivia, K, and Wyatt altogether!

Later that day, DeeDee had bubbles for K in the backyard

Then, Auntie Lauren babysat, which she loves, so we could go out to dinner with Grandpa and DeeDee

We had a wonderful trip to St. Louis and were so happy to see everyone! A big thank you to Grandpa and DeeDee for letting us take over their house! Love you!
