K is 15 Months Old!

She weighs 29 lbs. and is 33 3/4 in. tall! She is running everywhere and has started to climb more than the stairs! She is talking up a storm, too. She is often taking roll call to see who is available: "MaMa?!" "DaDa?!" "NaNa (her blanket)?!" Some of her newer favorite words are...

no (and shakes her head!) or no no (when referring to an object)

Melmo (like Elmo, but she is referring to Cookie Monster)

bow (for her hair)

K is enamored with push buttons (the garage door) and light switches. She is constantly walking up to light switches around the house and pointing for me to pick her up so that she can turn the lights on and off. She has a little OCD when it comes to doors and gates being closed, too. Even if on her way down, she will climb back up the stairs if the gate is not closed properly!

She also loves her babies right now and one of them usually travels with her everywhere she goes. She even attempts to change their diapers with her little Bitty Baby diaper bag and wipes, and puts on their pajamas for bed. It's the cutest thing ever!


We recently had a heat wave of Santa Ana winds and K got to play outside with lots of water...she had a ball, mostly just dumping it on herself!
