Taking care of Grandma
K and I packed up and headed to Atlanta on Friday in order to take care of Grandma (she had ankle surgery and can't walk or drive for six weeks!), while Grandpa Bill is working. Grandma and Grandpa have a big dog, Baxter, and a kitty, Dusty, for K to play with and K is in heaven! Grandma and Grandpa bought her flowers to play tug-of-war with Baxter (he doesn't tug hardly at all when K is on the other end, but they both have the best time!)
K loves her "Baa" and gives him hugs all the time!
She LOVES playing in Grandma's wheelchair, too.

Each time K can track "Baa" down, usually when he's lying down resting or taking a nap, she lays on him. She gives him hugs and says "Aaaaawwwww!", and kisses, too!
While we were here, we met up with K's buddy, S at his house. S's parents, Jaimee and Justin, were so sweet to have us over and their home is beautiful - straight out of a designer's dream! K and S are only 3 days apart and their Grandmas and Grandpas are really great friends! Grandma Bowlby and Charlotte have a wonderful time learning all about being Grandmas together, and they both have babysat each other's grandchildren now and then since Grandma Bowlby lives in Atlanta by S, and Charlotte lives in St. Pete where we have visited with K. K and S are very lucky to have such wonderful, loving Grandmas! It was so much fun to finally get them together!
Just like home!
At one point, they were both staring out the front door with their hands upon the glass. It was so cute, but I didn't get there with the camera quite in time!
K and "Baa" together!
