B is 21 Months Old!

B weighs approximately 26 lbs. and is wearing 18-24 month and 2T clothes, and wears a size 7 1/2 shoe.  He is really starting to talk!  Most of his words start with B or D, but here are a few of his words:

"Ah-may" (airplane)

"Ah-bah" (iPad)

"Wah-wer" (water)

"Nack" (snack)

"Elmo"

"Dup-dee" (Cookie Monster)

"Dup-day" (toothpaste)

"Tee" (teeth)

"Tsoo-tsoo" (choo choo or train)

"El-aah" (Elsa)

"Mau" (mouth)

"No" (nose)

"Eye"

"Dee-Dee" (K)

"Dope" (soap)

I know that I have mentioned it before, but B has an addiction to skin-to-skin contact.  If one of us is wearing a tank top, or he catches us getting dressed, he says "bel-bel" (belly), and immediately wants us to hold him.  He lays his head on our shoulders and wraps his arms and legs around us like a little monkey.  It must be from nursing or something, whhich he is still doing once or twice a day.

He is ready for bed around 6 or 6:30 and sleeps until 5 or 5:30 a.m.  It's pretty brutal, but we're hoping that 2 is the magic number where he will start sleeping a little bit later.  He is sleeping throught the night most nights, which is a vast improvement from a few months ago.

He loves his trucks and Sesame Street right now.  Elmo and Dup-dee (cookie monster) are his guys!  And he likes to watch "Booba" (football) with Dada.  His favorite song has evolved from "Happy" by Pharell, to "Riptide" by Vance Joy.  He loves to listen to it over and over again on the "Ah-bah" (iPad) or phone.  And he is way into his scooter and his "bah" (bike).  Check him out...
