Daddy did it!!!!

So, I thought it would be fun to take K to the nail salon to get her nails painted for our mommy-and-me time (no Baby Brother, just us!) this weekend. We stopped at Starbuck's on the way and bought drinks and treats. But when we got there, she was too scared. She just said, "Mama, I want my nails painted at home." And she told most of the nail salon the same thing!

She did, however, wait patiently and so wonderfully while I got a quick pedicure...she had been telling me for weeks that I needed my toenails painted!  When we were leaving, there was a little girl with a pony tail, who looked about 6 or 7 getting her nails painted...alternating pink and purple with polka dots. K loved it and has been talking about the next time we go to the "nail store" ever since!

When we got home, I had to feed the baby so K and Daddy were hanging out. I heard her say she wanted her nails painted...so Daddy took her upstairs and painted them for her! Alternating pink and purple to boot! What a great Daddy!
