Baby Brother is 1 Month Old!

I can't believe Baby Brother is already a month old!  It flies by so very fast...especially with 2 kids!  He went to the doctor on Tuesday and he weighs 9 lbs. 1 oz. (yay!) and is 22 in. long!  He has gained 2 pounds in 3 weeks, which is awesome and means that he's getting enough at feedings (I am always worried after having such a hard time with K when she was first born).  He is in the 30% for height and the 67% for weight....still so little even though he's growing so much.

Baby Brother is more alert every day and has more awake time.  He smiles, but it usually coincides with a little gas :)  He really wants to hold his head up for extended periods of time and is always trying.  He wants to be held all the time, even when he sleeps, which presents a challenge when I'm trying to tend to K.  I have a new woven wrap carrier, which he loves, and allows me to be hands-free for a bit!  And he loves to be swaddled; anything that is similar to the womb!  We use a pacifier occasionally to get him to sleep, which gives me a little break.  He absolutely loves K...his eyes always follow her when she's in the room and she can get him to stop fussing just be being there and patting him on the belly or back.  It's precious!

K loves the swing; Baby Brother not so much.  K wants to push Baby Brother all the time.  We have to remind her to not push so high...she thinks he wants to go high in the swing like she does at the park!
