K's First Dentist Appointment

I know that we are way behind the curve, given that K is almost 3 years old and I had yet to take her to the dentist, but I have to admit that I was dreading it.  She had a presentation at preschool about the dentist and we had been talking to her friends about going since they had already been.  But, by the time I made the appointment, it took me 3 months to get in!  We went today and it was well worth it.  She did great, except for a few tears at the end.  They counted her teeth and let us know that we were doing a great job brushing.  They asked about flossing and I panicked a little bit (like how do you floss a 2 year old's teeth without them going crazy?!), but then they looked at her teeth and told me she wasn't ready for flossing yet.  Phew!  We don't have to go back for 6 months....yay!
