Disney on Ice!

A few weeks ago, we went to Target (one of K's favorite destinations!) to pick up a few things.  If K is a good girl while I get what I need, we get to go to the toy section so that she can check out all of the toys.  She saw a Repunzel dress for dress-up and fell in love!  Every day for three weeks, she asks if we can go to Target to buy a "Punzel dress," and every day I have to tell her that maybe she will get one for her birthday if she is a really good girl, but that is not the sort of thing we just go and buy.  "Why, Mama?"  I think the three's have already started!

My two friends and I had planned to take K and her two besties to see Disney on Ice, so I thought it would be fun if K opened one of her birthday presents early...

The crown went on immediately!
"A Punzel Dress!"
All ready to go an see the Princesses!
K wasn't exactly sure what we were going to see, but she knew that Princesses would be there, and she knew there was ice skating involved.  She asked if we were going ice skating with the Princesses?!  We all rode together in Keaton's car, and the kids had a blast side-by-side!  Abby was decked out in her light-up Cinderella dress, crown, and jewelry.  K's dress did not fit in her carseat, but she had her little friend, Pasqual (Repunzel's friend in the movie) with her in the car.  We put her dress on as soon as she stepped out of the carseat!
So happy!
There were princesses everywhere!  And the kids were mezmerized by the show.  At one point, they even stood up and started dancing!  So cute!
And we had yummy popcorn at intermission.
It was such a fun day!  And we are so thankful to Kerry for planning it!
