Murphy Trip to Cabo

We had another Murphy family trip to Cabo, so Cee-Cee and Papa, May-May and Bih-hee, and Conor flew down for some sun, fun, and lots of food! Dada joined us half-way through the week and we had a great time! We missed Uncle Bri, who was stuck at school. K hit the pool every single day and became quite the little fishy. Each day after nap, we would walk around the resort to look for "lizards" (iguanas that roamed the property), and to see what other fun things we could find. K was still waking up, so her Na-Na (blanket) had to come too!
K loved the tree of hearts. She would stop and want to swing them, but they were glass and fragile!
We found a lizard on our path...
Part of our walk always included a trip to see the "blub blubs" in the lillypad pond.
K would get a bath before dinner each night and put on her "princess dress and princess shoes", and she, of course, had to bring her purse with us to dinner, which held all of her markers, "colors" (crayons), and stickers.
The tree of hearts again...

K asked for "beans and dia" at every meal for the first few days, and boy, did she love the beans!
The pools were great and super kid-friendly with gradual entries and waterfalls galore. CeeCee and Papa brought K her special water baby meant for the pool who comes swimming with her. All of the other kids at the pool were thoroughly impressed that her baby could come swimming!

The beautiful view from Esparanza!
Esparanza has a few great restaurants right on the water, where we ate breakfast and dinner
K would usually get bored before Mama was finished eating, so everyone took turns passing her around the table and entertaining her until I could take her up to bed. She was up way past her bedtime!

On our last night, we went downtown to Edith's for the most amazing meal. We took a few family pictures before we left for the restaurant.
Here we are at dinner. Mama and Dada got a little break while K sat in between CeeCee and Papa
K LOVED the mariachi band that came around from table to table. When they came to our table, she wanted to stand up and dance...
On the way home from the restaurant, Patrick and I were discussing how good the food was at Edith's. K said, "Mama, my dia good!" We had a wonderful time! Much thanks to CeeCee and Papa for an amazing Murphy family trip!
