K's First Roadtrip

We decided to be brave and take our show on the road this weekend. On Saturday, we headed up to Newport with K and all of her gear in tow. We are so thankful to our friends, Jesse and Amy, for opening their home and allowing us to invade their guest room...it seriously looked like a bomb went off in there, and only 10 minutes after we arrived. While the boys played golf, Amy and I took K for a walk on Back Bay and then to get bagels with her mom, Rita, and the best cookies I have ever had! Campitelli's in Anaheim Hills will definitely be a stop I have to make when we head up to Orange County. It was great to spend some time with Amy and Rita to catch up!

In the afternoon, we headed over to Steve and Mia's for some great company and amazing food! K sported the adorable outfit given to her by Deanna and Jason. I was so excited when K was big enough to fit into the cute satin dress, bloomers, sweater, tights, and coordinating Robeez. Deanna is a designer, and of course, has the most amazing taste! K's outfit was a hit!

On Sunday, we met Grandma and Grandpa Murphy in Los Angeles. K was a champ! And Grandpa Eddie loved carrying her around all day....until the explosion came...out the diaper and through the onesie and pants! Patrick and Grandpa Eddie decided to brave it and took her to the men's room for a change and she giggled the whole time! It was her very first giggle, and Daddy was there to see it! We are waiting for her to giggle some more and absolutely cannot wait!

It was a fun weekend, but I think we were all ready to be home again! It was just a practice run for ten days in St. Louis next month...I think we will need a moving truck!
