The Murphy’s take DC!

Patrick had to work in DC for over a week, so the kids and I went for a long weekend. We all cozied up in his little hotel room with 2 double beds in between excursions...we saw the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, Air and Space Museum, and Museum of American History, as well as toured the Capital, the National Archives, and the White House Visitors’ Center. We also saw the Washington Monument, the Supreme Court, and the White House. We took a quick run through the International Spy Museum, but it was a little much at the end of a long day. The kids were troopers! Their favorite parts, though, were the big, beautiful snowflakes, the indoor pool at the hotel, and the breakfast place we went to every day called Bread & Chocolate!
