Ski Week in Fernie, BC

For ski week, we took the kids skiing for the very first time. Our friends have a place in Canada and invited us to go with them. Fernie is the cutest small town with the greatest ski mountain and the nicest people! It was Alberta ski week as well and all of the locals kept saying how busy it was. But we did not wait in one lift line and sometimes had an entire run to ourselves!

B saw his first snow and we played outside our very first day. We asked the caterpillar snow plow to make a sledding hill for us and he did a great job!

The kids were able to take private lessons so they could be together, and both took to it right away. K put on her skis and immediately started skating around. And B would just point his down the mountain. His edgie wedgie helped a lot in keeping the toes of his skis together, and he carried it around everywhere aprés ski! They were on the chair lift on the second day and we were able to do a family run all together each day after they were finished! Each day in the car, B would crash on the way home...so cute! We just relaxed at the house on our off time and the kids had a blast with Anders!

Fernie is amazing and we can't wait to go back!
