Baby Brother is 9 Months Old!

B already weighs 19 lbs. 12 oz. (51%) and is 29 3/4 in. tall (82%)! But, his head circumference is in the 97%!  He takes after his Mama and Dada with our big noggins! He wears size 12 - 18 months in most of his clothes.  He is crawling everywhere and is so fast! And he wants to pull himself up on everything he possibly can.  He even lets go sometimes and stands by himself! But, the pulling up also means lots of injuries...he bumps that noggin all the time!

He is still saying "Hi," "Hey," and lots of vowel sounds.  He definitely identifies "Da Da Da" with Patrick, which is so cute!  And sometimes he will say "Ma Ma Ma," but not necessarily meant for me.  He is such a Daddy's boy and wants to be with Patrick all the time!

B is still eating lots, but is getting more picky.  He doesn't want to feed himself, but wants the chunkier foods like the big people are eating...so high maintenance! And he wants nothing to do with a spoon!  The only baby food he will eat is directly from the pouch, so don't judge me if you see me sticking one in his mouth rather than using a spoon :) He is still nursing 8 - 10 times per day, so he is a hungry, growing boy!

The sleep situation is improving, but he still wakes 2 to 3 times per night to eat.  It's a struggle to get him to stay up until 6 for bedtime, but he will sleep until 6:30 or 7, which is nice.  We just have to get him to sleep through the night!

Here he is pulling himself up in our bathroom...big sister was in the bathtub and he so wanted to be in there, too!
