K's Day at Sea World

K's friend, Abby, came to Stroller Strides a few weeks ago with a pink, dolphin, stuffed animal, and K has not stopped talking about it since!  "Mama, can we go to Sea World tomorrow and get a pink dolphin?"  Every day!  After two weeks of asking, Mama and Dada decided it was time to take her to Sea World again!  She has been such a good girl, taking naps (when we lay down with her, but we'll take it!  And Mama could use the nap anyway!) and listening.  And her time as an only child has an expiration date! 

K is obsessed with lipstick these days and likes to put it on a few times a day.  We were on our way to Sea World in the car when I look over and she had used her black (washable!) crayon as lipstick.  Check it out!

 K wanted to feed the seals, but she doesn't like to touch the fish.  She made Dada do it, and then he felt like he was plagued by fish smell for the rest of the day!

 But, K had a really good time watching Dada feed the seals!

 And since I feel like Shamu (and strangers feel the need to remind me that I look like it, too!), we thought it appropriate that this week's belly picture be taken at Sea World.  It just so happens that a Baby Shamu was born a few days ago, and Dada thought this sign was hilarious!

We had a really great family day and K really enjoyed herself!  She's already asking to go back to Sea World...thank goodness we renewed our passes!  And she loves her new pink, dolphin!
