K is 10 Months Old!

I cannot believe how fast time is flying by and it is already the holidays! It seems like yesterday that we were waiting for K to come into the world and now she has been here 10 whole months already! She weighs 24 lbs. 14 oz. and is almost 32 in. tall. She is standing up on her own and even claps for herself when she does it...it's hilarious! She is eating small bites of everything, but sometimes spits out what she doesn't particularly like and throws it on the floor. Every mealtime requires a full bib and splat mat! Although, she has quite an arm and some bits end up on the drapes! She has 5 teeth and we think that more are about to come in.

We went to Santa Barbara to Grandma and Grandpa Murphy's house for Thanksgiving weekend. Grandpa got his workouts taking K for walks.



Grandma and Grandpa were very prepared for K's visit with a new crib, high chair, and all of her favorite snacks! It made it very easy for Mommy and Daddy because we could travel lightly...a rarity of late! Here is K at snacktime talking to the whole family.
She is very expressive!




Grandma and Grandpa's icemaker was on the fritz, so Uncle B and Uncle C were charged with picking up some ice for our water glasses at dinner. While we only needed enough for 7 glasses of water, they returned with 4 huge bags of ice! And one ended up emptied on the floor! We were all laughing hysterically!


K was ready and waiting for Thanksgiving dinner!





Thanksgiving dinner was amazing and we had a great time!
