K and I headed back to Florida for my cousin, Curt and his new wife, Bree's wedding in St. Pete. We missed Daddy, who was stuck here working. K and I flew on our own (almost missed the flight!), and thankfully met up with Grandma and Grandpa Bowlby once we got there. We took K to the beach at the Don Cesar Hotel in St. Pete Beach - the exact same beach where Auntie Lauren and I went as babies for our first trip to the beach. It was K's first experience with the ocean that was warm! The ocean here in San Diego is ice cold, so K was pleasantly surprised by the warm water in Florida and got to play in the tide pools and the sand.
The water was crystal clear!
And the Don is as impressive as ever! It has that retro-glamour vibe like the Hotel Del Coronado here in San Diego.
Grandma and Grandpa Bowlby were prepared with beach toys and everything for K to play with! It was so nice to spend time with them and they were a huge help with K!
Curt and Bree's wedding was intimate and beautiful, and really reflected them as a couple. Congratulations and best wishes! We are so happy for both of you!
